The Impact Playground
Children with special needs—especially those on the autism spectrum—are often excluded from traditional playgrounds due to lack of accommodations. Pure Positive Intentions has identified key challenges impacting these families.
With autism affecting approximately 1 in 36 children, the absence of inclusive infrastructure creates a significant developmental and social gap.
This project directly addresses these inequities by creating a safe, accessible, and inclusive space where all children can thrive.
The REC
Resource Empowerment Center
Inner-city neighborhoods face persistent challenges that disproportionately impact youth, including:

Limited access to safe recreational spaces

High rates of food insecurity

Academic achievement gaps

Exposure to community violence

Lack of mental health resources
Many children lack structured after-school environments, increasing their vulnerability to negative influences. There is a strong need for a centralized, community-based facility that addresses these issues holistically.
The Rec will directly respond to these needs by offering a safe haven that promotes education, wellness, and personal development.
